A  SOS Professional Organizer will also be a neutral party so the client will not feel they are being attacked or judged.  A SOS Professional Organizer will also be knowledgeable of the products and services needed to address the project and to protect the client’s identity.

Q?How will SOS help assure continued organization?
A.

SOS will problem solve and use systems that work with the client’s lifestyle and personality.  SOS also offers professional life skills and coaching to address the root of issue and how to keep desired level of organization.   Additionally, SOS offers continued support and follows up when requested by client.

Q?What is the most common organizing project that SOS is hired for?
A.

The most common organizing project that SOS is hired for is paperwork.  It is common to get behind with paperwork because it generally enters our lives daily.  For example, mail is delivered almost daily.  People with school-aged children often receive papers concerning school or homework.  Not to mention the papers many people have to deal with concerning their job or other projects.  Paperwork can be time consuming and because it does not take up much space (usually) it is easy to get in the habit of piling it up with the intention to get back to it later.  Even though paperwork is a common organizing project, SOS is hired for a wide vary of services such as administrative tasks, home organizing, event planning, relocating, home staging, calendar management, errands and coaching. Go to “Services” tab and click on service tile to see more details.

Q?What one tip would you give to people who are trying to get organized?
A.

Start with small, manageable organizing projects, like maybe a drawer. Sort all the items before delivering them to their desired location.  This will prevent getting overly tired from darting from room to room and from getting distracted from project.  Complete small pieces of a project rather than attempting to tackle a large project at once.  If a project seems too overwhelming or too difficult, calling in a professional would be beneficial.

Q?Why should I choose SOS over another Professional Organizing Service?
A.

There are several reasons a client would benefit from hiring SOS rather than another professional organizer.  First, SOS offers a professional, non-judgmental service to clients. Secondly, SOS does not sell products and is resourceful using first what the client already has as well as what the client may need to purchase.  Next, SOS is insured and bonded and goes extra lengths to assure the privacy and security of the client’s identity and information.  SOS, also, provides a wide range of services & resources so the client can spend less time on research.

Q?How much will my first session with SOS cost?
A.

The first “session” with SOS is the consultation.  The consultation is where the client and professional organizer(s) meet and goes over how the service works, assess the areas to be organized, discuss goals and to take measurements if needed.  This meeting is FREE!  If the client chooses to work with SOS, a “session” will be scheduled to begin the organizing project.

Q?How is the client’s privacy and personal information protected by SOS?
A.

The client’s approval is made before SOS removes any unwanted items. SOS discards sensitive information directly to closed container type shredder and assures that no other parties handle or have access to the discarded information. SOS is secured and bonded for the client’s protection.

Q?What is your cancellation policy and methods of payments?
A.

SOS accepts cash, checks and major credit cards.  A processing fee will be added when using a credit card to cover charges from the credit card company.  SOS asks for a 48 hour cancellation notice otherwise the client will be charged.  If there is an emergency, SOS will work with client to resolve charges.
